Angel$ Are Where You Find Them

For those of you who lived through the dot.com bubble, (covering roughly 1995–2000, with a climax on March 10, 2000 with the NASDAQ peaking at 5132.52), you know that “Angels are where you find them.”

In this instance, the term “angels” is Wall Street-speak for an affluent individual who provides capital for a business start-up, usually in exchange for convertible debt or ownership equity.

The Chart at the left (click to enlarge, click to enlarge again) provides a pictorial rendition of the process.  It is not as arcane as some would have you believe.  Like many things in business, it is not always what you know, but sometimes who you know.

Jericho Technology has contacts with Angels in various countries, including the United States, and we are always looking for more.  When the timing is right for your company, let us know.  Perhaps we can share a halo or two with you.
