Armed for Recession: Where Best to Work

No one is talking, but everyone is worrying.

Top executives and recent college graduates alike, are all perplexed and concerned about their immediate job future.  Looking for a new position, whether to stimulate your career or to protect it, has never been more difficult or more complicated.  The “resume mill” is notoriously unproductive, and creative solutions are hard to come by.

It could be argued that the most deliberate and most effective approach to being armed for recession, is to cultivate relationships in a targeted group of fine companies.

Even if you are not looking for an attractive place to land, it might be a good idea to build relationships for any eventuality.  And besides, it is very good for business.
